fundraiser saying it seems like nothing is enough to make president obama reconsider unyielding support for planned parenthood. joining me now radio talk show host thank you. you have written about this case and talked a lot about it. you recently wrote about the media coverage. you have some organizations who tried to put the media in the box saying they are ignoring the trial as a bias. what is your take here? >> i don't see it. the trial is now in its seventh week and took until about mid stream until the national media started to kick in. what i think is significant is if there was ignorance of the case from the left there was equal ignorance of the case from the right. it is not as if conservative outlets were here in philadelphia and covering it to the exclusion of more liberal outlets. i think it is illogical to believe that the case is a poor reflection of legal abortion in america because allegedly and of course the jury is about to get the case, this man flouted the law. so he ignored whatever the law was. and frankly i think there is a differing argument which says if restric

the budget priorities. the housing market is recovering. a lot of the opponents said the obama economy is going to be devastated are just wrong. one of the talking points of republicans as you know is food stamp enrollment has grown faster than job growth. the president has to say my policies have helped the job growth situation grow overall. until job growth improves, opponents say the president can't say anything. >> they're getting ready to ask the president questions. the shock was enormous to everyone in the area. would it be wise based on the experience you went through on 9/11 for the president to create some commission of inquiry to make sure we don't repeat any mistakes that may have occurred in the lead up to the boston bombings? >> i think it's an excellent question. why? because in the aftermath of these things is what happens is there's a rush for accountable. finger pointing. like the mirandizing with the communication between the fbi and russia. you lose sight of how to get better. one of the things about the 9/11 commission was is they looked at the systems that were in

in to make sure you have productive work you want to find. host: let me talk about employment targets and where the administration would like to be of this point. bernstein rights today in "the new york times." how the obama maladministration want to get this employment rate to. >> their responsibility for achieving full employment rests with the administration. they want to create jobs. but it also rests with the federal reserve and that is where you really have seen unemployment targeting take place. i don't think there's anyone in the world who would say we don't want to see full employment. we don't want people who want a job not to have a job. the question is, what is full employment and that is hotly debated. it is not clear exactly what that number would be. it is not zero. there will always be people in transition or not in the labour force. is it 5%? that is extraordinarily low. is it 5.5%? is it 6%? there is a big debate about that. the federal reserve has said its unemployment target is 6.5%. that is the number where it will say they will keep interest rates low until the e
